…looked at the world around you? I mean really drank it all deeply in? The colors, shapes, lines and their relationship to one another will initially intoxicate you with their possibilities before clarifying into consumable chunks of memory.
The easiest way to exercise your imagination is to lay back in the grass and watch the clouds, and for many people that is the most peaceful and calming memories of youth. Unfortunately those idyllic care free days fade into the lengthening shadows of time as you “grow up” or “mature”.
Perhaps by stepping back, slowing down, and seeking a momentary quiet within you can personally triumph over the evil chaos pervading the news… at least you will not be contributing to it.
